Recycling:
We observe that recycling is limited to companies in your area and what they'll take and what they won't take.
This way of recycling although it helps will never save this plant. This page will give you some cool ideas of what you can do with your trash.
Break Drum:
Make a Break Drum Forge. This forge is great fun for the making of knifes and other basic black smithing. Turn an old metal file into the sharpest knife in the house and turn a railroad spike into a spoon. Recycle bits of iron by making them into beads, hooks, tools, rings, ect. Runs on Charcoal which is easy to make. The Forge is easy to construct as well. You'll need a break drum, metal pipe with a T fitting and a fan from an old leaf blower, hair dryer, etc. See picture below and do your own research. You'll have tons of fun doing your own recycling and every man deserves at least a small forge.
Scrap Wood:
There are many ways to recycle scrap wood. You can make a fort for the neighborhood kids, bird houses, picture frames, wood crafts, etc. Make bat house and bee hives. Owl boxes and flower planters. If you've made a break drum forge you can turn scrap wood into charcoal for fuel or just use it to keep the house warm in the winter.
Bike:
People use their imagination with bikes. It is truly amazing the things that can be done with an old bike.
Make a cool peddle car or a double decker bike. You can get a bike generating electricity and have your over weight spouse generate the power for your house hold. Half an hour a day will keep your spouse in better shape and the lights on.
Buckets:
You can use buckets for pots, water storage, grain storage, worm farms or even for musical instruments.
Plastic Water Bottles:
Melting down plastic is a smelly and toxic job and is best left to people with equipment. Great for starting seedlings though and building islands.
Scrap Windows and Cans:
For cheap construction, earth ships and underground houses. Use old sliding glass windows for green houses and sky lights. You could always build a tower on your property for all those old books, charts, maps and musty scrolls.
So some crazy people build their houses for free. How stupid of them. But what about those nuts who build their own land out of recycled material.
